This presentation will share information about how to provide support caregivers in the workplace - everything from individual caregiving planning to best practices for structuring a workplace to be more caregiving-friendly.  Learn how to set an individual caregiving plan to help employees who may be struggling to find relevant community resources after suddenly becoming a caregiver for a loved one.

Communication with employees is a strategic business process, not a one-off set of tactical activities. Managers are involved, and HR can help with some simple and practical actions. Understand the connection between engagement, the bottom line and communication and how to connect human capital metrics.

The chapter is recognized by SHRM as a Preferred Provider and all sessions so identified offer PDCs towards the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP.   The chapter has also been designated as a provider of HRCI-approved recertification credit. All sessions so identified may be used to meet HRCI recertification requirements.


Reservations and Cancellations must be made by 12 noon on the Monday prior to the meeting.  Members and non-members with reservations who do not attend will be billed $35.  Payment must be made by cash or check at the door -- no on-site payment with credit card.  There is a $25 service charge for returned checks.
