HR Professionals at all levels are increasingly faced with important occasions to present information in group settings.  Whether it’s a briefing to the C-Suite officers, an insurance update to hundreds of staff, or a small group of managers in a meeting, we need to be able to present effectively and with confidence.  Have you mastered the building blocks for powerful presentations and communication opportunities? 

 

By the end of this 1-day workshop, participants will:

  • Know how to gather key information and actively develop an effective message.
  • See and experience how to deliver a message that will come alive. 
  • Gain the skill of practicing and fine tuning their communication opportunities.  

CONTINUING EDUCATION: Submitted to SHRM for 6 PDCs towards the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP.  Submitted to HR Certification Institute for 6 hours of HR (General) credit towards PHR and SPHR recertification requirements.

 

ABOUT THE PRESENTER: BRIAN BRANDT is CEO of Core Insights, a Texas-based company providing premier training and strategic guidance for businesses and non-profits.  With nearly three decades of leadership experience, he has devoted his life to developing stronger leaders and organizations.  He has been interviewed by countless radio, television and print media outlets on a wide range of topics. He frequently writes for a variety of national publications and speaks at conferences on human resources issues, leadership, change management, and strategic planning. Brian holds a Master's Degree in Global Leadership as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.


LOCATION AND PARKING: CLICK HERE for a map link.  2190 North Loop West is NOT located on the feeder for the North Loop. You must turn onto EAST TC Jester and travel North approx 2 blocks to “Entrance 5” of the office park named “The Preserve”. Turn Right at Entrance 5 and look for the second garage marked Building 2190 for parking.  Registered attendees will receive an email confirmation with driving directions at least 24 hours prior to the start of the workshop

  • Non-Member: $380

PRE-REGISTRATION AND PRE-PAYMENT IS REQUIRED.  WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCOMMODATE WALK-INS OR PAYMENT AT THE DOOR.


Cancellations may be made with a full refund up to 5 business days prior to the workshop.  Individuals who register and neither cancel nor attend are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.  Substitutions may be made at any time; however, substitutions may incur an additional fee due to differences in the member type, e.g., substituting a non-member for a member registration.
