HR’s ability to successfully build and maintain cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders has evolved from a “nice to do” activity to a required professional competency. In today’s complex and competitive business environment, the scope and diversity of HR’s network of internal and external stakeholders often determines both professional and project success.
This highly interactive session addresses the most common networking myths for establishing cross-functional relationships, explores secret principles for building strategic relationships, and supplies success strategies for creating and leveraging a network of relationships that will drive success for the HR team, its projects and ability to contribute to the organization’s goals and objectives.

Return to your office with new strategies and solutions for:

  • Improving cross-functional communication to drive business results.
  • Strengthening relationships with strategic stakeholders to achieve objectives.
  • Building cross-functional collaboration and consensus

CONTINUING EDUCATION: Submitted to SHRM for 6 PDCs towards the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP.  Submitted to HR Certification Institute for 6 hours of Business (Strategic) credit towards SPHR and 6 hours of HR (General) credit towards PHR recertification requirements.
