MORNING PROGRAM 1: Keys to Managing Your Company's Benefit Plan*

Ryan will discuss the key things employers need to be doing throughout the year to better manage their benefit program. These keys help to control costs, increase employee engagement, maintain compliance, and ease administrative burdens. 

MORNING PROGRAM 2: The Government's at Your Door, What Do You Do?*

Presented by Pamela Williams, Esq. Partner, Fisher Phillips, and Lariza Hebert, Esq., Attorney Fisher Phillips

This session will help employers navigate the minefield of government investigations.  Pamela will explain the processes used by the EEOC, DOL, and OSHA, and provide employers with guidance about preparing for investigations, including an understanding of how much (or little) information to share.  Finally, the session will provide practical advice to help employers prepare and manage the on-site interview process.

Luncheon presentation: Mindful Methods for Integrating Feminine and Masculine Energy at Work for Organizational Growth*

Presenters

RYAN JOHNSON has been an employee benefit broker/consultant in Houston for more than 9 years. Ryan works with mid-market employers to ensure they have the right benefits in place and are provided proper guidance on all available options. His firm is one of the largest benefit brokerage firms in the country which provides him, his staff, and his clients with all of the necessary tools needed to have a top performing benefits plan.

PAMELA WILLIAMS is a partner in the Fisher Phillips Houston office. She has more than twenty years of experience handling labor and employment litigation matters in arbitration, as well as state and federal courts. Pamela has litigated individual, class, and collective actions, including claims involving allegations of discrimination, retaliation, medical leave violations, failure to provide accommodations for religion and disability, wage and hour violations, and workplace torts.

LARIZA HEBERT is an associate in the Fisher Phillips Houston office.  She represents clients in a broad range of labor and employment matters, including unlawful discrimination claims, harassment claims, retaliation claims, independent contractor issues, employee leave issues, trade secret litigation, and more. Lariza has litigated before state, federal, and administrative agencies, and has participated in dispute resolutions before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Texas Workforce Commission.

LISA M. LISZCZ, Ph.D. is a thought-leader on leadership and corporate culture. After 20+ years of holding leadership positions in 3 Global Fortune 500 companies, Lisa began her consulting practice.
