Hiring managers and human resource professionals know the value of maintaining a skilled foreign national workforce. As the labor force becomes more global in scope, employers are increasingly learning that it is essential to understand and effectively adhere to immigration compliance laws and regulations.

The trend toward increased scrutiny of immigration employment practices will likely continue in the foreseeable future. The heightened focus and scrutiny on immigration makes it vital that employers understand the myriad of rules and regulations surrounding the employment of foreign nationals.  Recent developments have made it even more critical that employers maintain a strong immigration compliance profile. 


PRESENTER BIO DILNAZ SALEEM works closely with local, national and international clients to provide legal advice and counsel in all areas of global immigration. She provides strategic direction and implements best practices for clients. She focuses on all aspects of employment-based immigration, policy design and program management to align with clients' global business objectives. Her practice focuses on counseling large multinational corporations on immigration issues.

Credit Hours

*The meeting offers 1 PDC for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP, 1 hour of HR (General) credit towards PHR and SPHR recertification requirements.

Cancellations may be made with a full refund up to 3 business days prior to the meeting.  Individuals who register and neither cancel nor attend are not eligible for refund or rescheduling.  Substitutions may be made at any time.
