Educational Program: A Manager’s Guide to Discrimination*
A Manager’s Guide to Discrimination*
Presented by Brett Holubeck, Esq, Associate, Liskow & Lewis
Many HR professionals are aware of the basics of discrimination. However, many managers are unsure of how to address “he said/she said” situations, respond to off-color jokes, or understand how different discrimination issues may interact with each other. In this session, attendees will review steps that they can take to reduce instances of discrimination in their workplace through training and additional policies.
*The meeting offers 1 PDC for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP, and 1 hour of HR (General) credit towards PHR and SPHR recertification requirements.
BRETT HOLUBECK is a labor and employment attorney at Liskow & Lewis.
