HR metrics enable an organization to make informed decisions about investment in HR service quality. It is critical to measure the right things in order to make informed management decisions, take the appropriate actions, and change behaviors. But how do managers figure out what those right things are? When we measure what we do and are able to articulate the value of HR to an organization, we are speaking the language of business. In addition, we can also identify metrics that are expensive to collect and may not be worth the investment. In the workshop:
- Find out what makes a good HR metric learn how to develop results-driven and measurable goals that link metrics to organizational performance.
- Analyze performance measurement by identifying and defining key indicators and measures that directly support decision making and an organization's business, process improvement, and project goals. Learn how a measurement approach tied to strategic business objectives will ensure that planning, budgeting, and the allocation of operational resources are focused on what matters most to the organization.
