HR Basics is a two-day workshop that introduces you to the field of Human Resources.
Are you new to HR or to human resources subject matter? Moving from a specialist to generalist position or administrative to exempt? Has your small company employer asked you to assume an HR role? This two-day program led by Senior HR Professionals provides an overview of the major areas of HR practice.
Beginning with a review of employment law, you’ll then move through each core HR function to understand the role and responsibilities of HR in each stage of the Employment Life Cycle:

The workshop offers 12.25 PDCs for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP and 12.25 hours of HR (General) credit towards PHR and SPHR recertification requirements..
